How do I find a driving instructor near me? Go to our Find an Instructor page, enter your postcode in the search bar and hit search. You can filter results by availability, lesson type and location on our interactive map. Click any instructor to see their full profile including contact details.
How do I know if an instructor is qualified? Look for the Like Driving Verified badge on instructor profiles. Verified instructors have had their DVSA ADI registration confirmed by our team. All instructors are encouraged to add their DVSA registration number to their profile.
What does the availability status mean? Instructors can set their availability to show whether they are accepting new learners, have limited availability, are fully booked or operating a waitlist. This saves you ringing around – you can see at a glance who has space for new students.
What lesson types can I search for? Like Driving lists instructors offering manual lessons, automatic lessons, intensive courses, Pass Plus, motorway lessons, advanced driving, theory training, instructor training and motorcycle training (CBT and DAS).
Is Like Driving free for learners? Yes completely free. Search, compare and contact instructors at no cost.
Can I find driving test centres on Like Driving? Yes search for “Test Centre” in the Find an Instructor search bar or filter by the Test Centre category to find DVSA approved test centres near you.

How do I list my driving school on Like Driving? Visit likedriving.co.uk/join-as-an-instructor/ to create your free account. Once registered you’ll be taken straight to your listing form to add your details. It takes less than 5 minutes.
Is listing on Like Driving free? Yes — a basic listing is completely free with no time limit and no credit card required. We also offer Like Driving Verified for £30/month which gives you priority placement, a verified DVSA badge, availability status and full profile features.
I think I’m already listed — how do I claim my profile? Search your school name at likedriving.co.uk/find-an-instructor/ — if you find your listing click “Is this your driving school?” to start the claim process. You’ll receive a verification email within minutes.
What is Like Driving Verified? Like Driving Verified is our premium tier for instructors at £30/month. Verified instructors receive a DVSA verified badge, priority placement above free listings in search results, full profile features including availability status and photo, and eligibility for our upcoming Most Liked rankings.
What is the Most Liked feature? Coming soon learners who find their instructor through Like Driving will be able to give them a thumbs up. Instructors with the most likes in their area will be featured in our Most Liked rankings, giving them greater visibility and credibility.
How does Like Driving promote to learners? We actively promote Like Driving to learner drivers through social media advertising, partnerships with universities and colleges across the UK, and organic search. Our goal is to be the first place every learner visits when looking for an instructor.
How do I update my listing? Log in to your Like Driving account at https://likedriving.co.uk/account/ and go to your Profile page. Click the School name under your profile picture to find your listing and click Edit to update your details, availability, photo and more.

Where does Like Driving operate? Like Driving covers the whole of the UK including England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. We currently have over 1,700 driving instructors and schools listed nationwide.
